I wonder though, do other GMs, guys who know way more than us, see these players differently? The team is in total shambles, so do they look at Ghost and say, he justs needs a change of scenery? And well if they were to even consider this Jake must go the other way....must. But Ellis would be a D man who is very similar to Niskanen...and he has no NMC or NTC and well could be exposed to Seattle and well if they take him it is what it is but the fact that Jake would be gone i do this...i hate Jake that much. I've said this in the Eckholm thread. this is the deal you do. Ellis is all the things you've been trying to sell Eckholm to me on. Ellis checks all the boxes and can become a Timonen type. Ellis is a legit top pairing player, he's living and breathing doing the things you've been telling me Eckholm can do. Ekholm has some solid offense but more a two way guy who is mobile, he is what I would love Myers to be...or even in Morin's game. Ellis is what we wish Ghost would be. So more offense from him and he isn't soft or weak in his own end. In fact I'd love both....if I'm honest. Can we do a blockbuster deal? Flyers lack the instructors on the ice.
