yeah....Carter Hart is NOT the problem. Sure he had a bad game but he is NOT the problem with this club...."The Problem" has been around for YEARS now.

The vets/leaders on this team really need to take a long hard look in the mirror....

Unacceptable way to lose. AV said in the presser he could not find a single good thing to say about a single player from last night's game....that's sad.

Put this one over with the ugly loss to the Pens earlier this season and MOVE ON.

(and of course Canes and Penguins win last night.....UGH!!!!)

He's literally the youngest goalie in the NHL. On an inconsistent team. Yet HE should be the rock? The kid has been incredibly good most of the time. And more consistent than JVR or  Voracek, or Ghost or Braun, , or...actually, they've been consistently worse than Hart.

Yeah did he not play well sure.

But he really is the least of my worries all those guys you mentioned especially the Captain could feel free to show up and do something.

Giroux

Coots

Jake

JVR

Hayes

Niskanen

Braun

All those vets listed above and all the millions they are making and all they could muster against the worst team in the West was one measly assist.

Yeah I can't put this at the feet of the kid.

He needs some help from the other 18 guys getting paid.

that's fair, i only brought that up because i dont know where to put my finger on these issues to be honest but you do have a point so do you think all of them accept hayes should be traded if they dont make the playoffs?

If you want to place some blame

I "blamed" the whole team in the same post.

Just so happens that it was an NAK turnover 40 seconds after the Flyers gained some momentum that gave the momentum back to SJS.

The whole team was terrible. NAK's 4 "hits" were pretty much meaningless.

What a difference a few days make. After last game the team was world beaters and all was well. JvR was a stud, NAK was the missing link, the young guys were living up to hype and Hart was a wizard.

Relax everyone. It was one game. Sure, its more of the same underachieving play we have unfortunately come to expect. Many even called this flop. That to me is a coaching issue. Hart played awful and has a problem on the road. It will get fixed.

Lets see what happens today after AV punishes some ass in the locker room. If they drop 4 straight, or 6 out of 10, then we can push the bug red button

Historically...the past 4 years or so...this whole West coast swing has been dreadful for the Flyers. This is the 1st of 6 games on this trip. Hoping for 3 wins...expecting 1 or 2. Plus Hart not as effective on the road as home...it is a learning process.

82 game season, every now and again the boys will throw in a stinker.

San Jose has been playing well below their talent level, and were embarrassed the night before.

I think they are a bad match up for the Flyers irrespective to any take I've read.

Pretty good bounce back game vs the Ducks though, so I guess the leaders can lead, the coaches caught lightning in a bottle and the goalies can goalie again.

LA Kings aren't what they once were so I'm hoping they can string together another good road game and get a good result.

Hopefully if they can beat the Kings then it may just prove the Shark's game was just a bad day at the office fresh off the plane.

I know many of us me included forget they are human still like us all...what matters is them finding a way to respond with all the injuries they have been dealing with combined with all the youth still learning on the job.

All they need to do is make a play.

Image result for chris long in a dog mask

To quote the great Chris Long "The play doesn't care who made it!"

Just keep grinding and make the dance...if they do none of us will care how they got there.

The problem with the loss to the sharks is that its a re-run. We have all seen this before. So as a fan, it makes you worry that its the same old song dance that ends in disappointment. They will lose, we all know that. And they are probably just good enough to make the playoffs at this point. But when they were playing hot, to come this flat, is good cause for fan concern
