Howie58
We are showing as heavy favorites: https://www.oddsshark.com/nhl/ottawa-philadelphia-odds-december-7-2019-1161431 I hope the team is angry over last night's loss to Phoenix and scores early. Ottawa is sub.500--we should play better.

MaineFlyFan
ALRIGHT!.....Enough with the ass punishing!!!.....my god. You know what would nice. If the flyers simply show up and play 60 against a "lesser" team. They have had a habit in recent years of loosing to shi**y teams.... which is madding! jammer2
Agreed. This is a classic trap game for Philly. In recent history, I would bet on the Flyers against a top 5 team before taking a risk on a team like the Sens. YES...straight up maddening the Flyers lose more than their fair share of these "easy" sub .500 games. Perhaps we can throttle the Sens with a 7-2 thrashing. It would go a long way in my journey to believe this team is "for real". Edited December 7, 2019 by jammer2
jammer2
Very smart for the up and coming Flyers to insert maximum skill into the line up. Especially the top 9 forwards. There is some growing pains with giving top minutes and pp time to pure rooks...but Frost and Farabee ARE the future...so let's get this prerequisite learning curve outta the way and let these fine talents figure out the league. Nice to be winning while this is happening...a big plus.

flyer4ever
Embarrassing. Getting run out of your own building. No push back. Nobody to push back. Maybe Carter Hart will dummy Tachuk.
IllaZilla
Don't worry. The Wild played the Sens a few weeks ago and were easily being handled by the Sens and then something happened in the second intermission (I'm guessing Boudreau gave them some "inspiration") an they came out flying in the third and beat the Sens 7-2... mkscrewy
True story: there is no one on the Flyers to respond.
TropicalFruitGirl26
Pageau plays a tough, heavy game. He put it to Farabee earlier, Laughton was just making sure Pageau and the Sens knew Farabee wasn't fair game. I was ok with the hit on Farabee and the one on Pageau….just tough hockey. Announcers can say what they want, the Ottawa ones are, of course, going to color it red...Flyers ones will color it orange. Doesn't matter...players on the ice playing some good ol fashioned tough hockey. Nice to see. And nice to see Farabee want to stand on his own.....dropping them with Pageau was a bit ballsy. OccamsRazor
Well this isn't boxing it's hockey....best way to respond is with a goal...followed by the win....it's all that matters.
TropicalFruitGirl26
Purple Hayes called for the hook.... Crap call, IMO. PK time for The Fly.

TropicalFruitGirl26
Sens PP is terrible though. Are they even at 10%!!?? They look suitably disjointed out there... Flyers PK should handle this unless they fall asleep.
TropicalFruitGirl26
Wow...that hurt. Miscommunication leads to Ottawa tying the game. Not sure if that was on Hart or Gostisbehere…. terrible all around.
