OccamsRazor
Well this sucks... Morgan Frost will not play tonight. He is now day to day with a lower-body injury. #Flyers working on power play. First unit appears to be Kevin Hayes, James van Riemsdyk, Shayne Gostisbehere, Jakub Voracek, Oskar Lindblom. Second-unit power play: Isaac Ratcliffe, Joel Farabee, Egor Zamula, Cal O'Reilly, Philippe Myers.
OccamsRazor
#Eagles Isaac Seumalo tonight had one of the worst single game grades by any player at any position in PFF history. He allowed two sacks, six QB hurries, committed three penalties, and graded equally poor as a run blocker and pass blocker.

AJgoal
Tweaked groin for Frost. Being held out as a precautionary measure, might be back tomorrow.

intheslot
Lineups for Tuesday's game will be posted for both teams when available. What is known is that Carter Hart will get the start in goal. Below are potential Flyers lines for Tuesday, based on Sunday's groupings, less Couturier, Giroux and Cal O'Reilly (who started in Frost's place on Monday). 82 Connor Bunnaman - 21 Scott Laughton - 12 Michael Raffl (Sunday combo) 81 Carsen Twarynski - 10 Andy Andreoff - 62 Nicolas Aube-Kubel (Sunday combo) 78 Matthew Strome - [replacement for O'Reilly] - 29 Kurtis Gabriel (Sunday combo) 72 David Kase skated on right wing with Couturier and Giroux on Sunday. 48 Morgan Frost (day-to-day, groin) is questionable for Tuesday. 9 Ivan Provorov - 15 Matt Niskanen (paired throughout camp) 8 Robert Hägg - 6 Travis Sanheim (paired on Sunday) 43 T.J. Brennan - 39 Nate Prosser (paired on Sunday) 26 Tyler Wotherspoon - 59 Mark Friedman (paired on Sunday; could be extras for Tue.) Carter Hart (starter) [One of J.F. Berube or Felix Sandström] ****************** Edited September 17, 2019 by intheslot added letters

OccamsRazor
My thoughts on the Flyers open roster spot. Only young forwards i have seen who are realistically competing for the Flyers so far. Farabee Rubtsov Kase NAK Vorobyev Those are the only ones who have a shot and i will throw Frost name in the hat even though i haven't seen him play yet. Ratcliffe i think needs some time learning to adjust to the pro game having his size not be such a big weapon for him now combined with more speed around him and having his time and space being taken away. He needs time to adjust to this change i think and then we will see him get back to being the player i think he can be. I think they are trying to give Lindblom a chance on the RW side because it may really be only left to two players really. And both are suited for the LW spot on the 3rd line if plug in to start their Flyer career. Farabee and Rubtsov. I know Ruby can play center but he is still struggling with faceoffs so they both have a real chance on the 3rd wing spot. Giroux - Couturier - Konecny JVR - Hayes - Voracek Farabee - Laughton - Lindblom Rubtsov - Vorobyev - Raffl or if Frost when he plays could he still a spot on the team?? Giroux - Couturier - Konecny JVR - Hayes - Voracek Farabee - Frost - Lindblom Rubtsov - Laughton - Raffl or Giroux - Couturier - Konecny JVR - Hayes - Voracek Farabee - Laughton- Lindblom Raffl - Andreoff - NAK Not sure if AV is comfortable with this many kids in the bottom 6. So maybe Andreoff wins by default. Guess we'll know more as they get more games in and they trim the roster.

brelic
Extremely early guess, but I would say Rubtsov will make the team, and possibly Farabee. Frost has the odds stacked against him because he is small and plays center. He's only played against 15-19 year old boys, so he would really benefit from AHL time. He also won't be 4th line C on the Flyers. The rest will be released / in LHV. G/Coots/TK JVR/Hayes/Voracek Farabee/Patrick/Lindblom Raffl/Rubtsov/Laughton Pitlick Defense will be interesting. Top 6 is a no brainer, I'd say. Provorov/Niskanen Ghost/Braun Sanheim/Myers The 7th will be Hagg or Morin. We might roll with 8 while overseas - which is what Fletcher hinted at - but once they're back in North America, they will waive/move one of those two for futures. My guess is Morin gets moved, maybe to Montreal. They love French Canadian players.
