hf101
While I've followed some of the recoveries of some of the Broncos here's Kaleb again. Here's a good read on his recovery. http://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/23513058/humboldt-broncos-forward-kaleb-dahlgren-living-big-teammates-survive

On a side note....I have searched the internet..has their been a determination yet for the cause of the accident? I don't believe it is out yet. As for Ryan Straz.... it's amazing the amount of support this young man has had from around the world. I got a chuckle out of the Flyers are now higher on his list than Boston. Graysen Cameron is another who has had lots of support after his back injury ended his playing hockey career. He's been given the opportunity to coach the Red Deer Optimist Chiefs as an assistant coach for the upcoming Alberta Midget Hockey League season. https://rdnewsnow.com/article/587982/cameron-optimist-chiefs-coaching-staff https://denver.cbslocal.com/2018/06/25/humboldt-broncos-hockey-bus-crash/ I saw this one too last night as there are still two in the hospital with severe head injuries Layne Matechuk and Morgan Gobeil who as of June 29th was still in a coma. https://www.saskhealthauthority.ca/news/releases/Pages/2018/Jun/Matechuck-family-statement.aspx
pilldoc
Finally some news .... https://abcnews.go.com/Sports/truck-driver-crashed-humboldt-broncos-team-bus-arrested/story?id=56420043 https://globalnews.ca/news/4317170/humboldt-broncos-crash-arrest/ Jaskirat Sidhu faces 16 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, 13 counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm. His first court appearance in Saskatchewan Provincial Court is next week. Sidhu, 29, is from Calgary. Though the official cause of the crash has yet to be released, with the arrest of the truck driver involved, it appears that the truck driver is going to be the principle cause of the crash. All major news articles that I have checked are repeating the same information.

AlaskaFlyerFan
Humboldt returns to the ice tonight on the NHL Network at 7:30 eastern. This is their first game back since the tragedy. They play the Nipawin Hawks, he same team they were supposed to play on the night of the accident. I hope this brings some level of healing to the family's of those who passed, the organization, the city of Humboldt, and the rest of the hockey world. pilldoc
UPDATE: http://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/26332383/truck-driver-fatal-humboldt-crash-gets-8-years "Jaskirat Sidhu, the truck driver who pleaded guilty in causing the Humboldt Broncos bus crash, was sentenced to eight years in prison -- the longest dangerous driving sentence ever in Canada for a case that didn't involve alcohol. Sidhu's sentence was announced on Friday in a Saskatchewan court by Judge Inez Cardinal, who said: "Nothing can turn back the clock. The collision was avoidable." Cardinal added that the effects of the tragedy, which killed 16 people and injured 13 others, will "reverberate across Canada for years to come." My heart will always ache for the families ...... such a useless loss of life. Edited March 22, 2019 by pilldoc

I saw that, and also at the end of his time served in prison he will be deported as he is a permanent resident and not a Canadien citizen. I think I posted that the last remaining victim finally left the hospital earlier this month still unable to talk or walk. So sad. https://globalnews.ca/video/5021198/humboldt-broncos-bus-crash-survivor-morgan-gobeil-released-from-hospital
Captain Lando
Just a few days ago 5 players from this Humboldt Broncos team who survived that horrific bus crash attended the Game 4 Western Conference Final between the Edmonton Oilers and Colorado Avalanche to make a donation to Ben Stelter you is the little boy who is suffering from a form of Brain Cancer. The donation was to offset some of the medical costs his family has accumulated. It shows that there is good in this world and these young guys have exhibited it here.
