Amazing. The writings out of Arizona about Cunningham over the last few weeks have been so interesting telling the story from numerous sources. Quote Khalpey proposed a new technique, using the ECMO machine once more, that has only been used three other times, ever: All by Khalpey, all within the prior two weeks, most recently to a priest who just happened to have the room next to Cunningham. Dr. Khalpey deserves a Nobel prize. That is some very successful research right there !!!

EDI-Flyer
Sad that Cunninghams career is over as I always liked him as a Vancouver Giant. However on the positive side it's just great that he is still alive and has the opportunity to pursue other opportunities within hockey.
AlaskaFlyerFan
I don't know that I've ever seen or heard of CPR being done for that long. Amazing story.
