Podein25
You cannot keep this boy down now can you? I am tied for first in my conference. And I do not expect to lose a single player in round one I'm more of a sheep guy, but there's a saying about counting chickens and the hatching of same that comes to mind....but carry on... Vanflyer
And I do not expect to lose a single player in round one Has Berglund played a minute of ice time in the first round yet? Truthfully, you have done well- particularly since you have BOTH Girardi and Berglund on your roster. Sadly, when Chi eliminates St Louis, your goose will be cooked. Vanflyer
He almost scored last night. Played well but Hitchcock has been giving him limited time due to injury I am sure I didn't see the game, so I stand corrected. On the limited ice time, he played almost 21 minutes. 7 shots and a mammoth -3, and lost 67% of his faceoff draws. OUCH! He is a decent player, but in this kind of format for FHL playoff, not one I would have picked at all. What is it about his whopping 32 points he scored this year that inspired you to pick him?? Vanflyer
Just a gut feeling and knowing how dangerous he can be. How dangerous he can be? Really?? When and where?? Not this season, not last season, in fact- never. Tarasenko, Schwartz, even your boy Roy are more dangerous than Berglund. In fact if you were going to gamble on an injured player for the "long" haul philosophy, why not the Blues second leading score Oshie?? J0e Th0rnton
Cambell ConferenceName: Points:@Vanflyer 34@radoran 29@Phillygrump 26@J0e Th0rnton 26 @FD19372 24@oilfieldhockey 23 - Only has Kunitz and Landeskog alive yet@Polaris922 22@pilldoc 22@hf101 19Van is running away with this division...can anyone catch him?It all hinges on how the Avs do next round(Assuming they win this series). Varlamov vs Crawford. The goalie to win 4 games gets 8 points+ minimum for his fantasy, while the loser gets 0-6+ depending on if he gets shutouts. Having Varlamov and Toews will kind of have him cheering for this series to go 7 games, because he loses one guy after it is over.Tyson Barrie is also out for awhile, and one of Kopitar/Marleau will be out in 1 or two games (Likely Kopitar)Not sure what to make of Niskanen or the pens chances given how much trouble the Blue Jackets have given them.I can give him a run for his money down the stretch if San Jose closes the series tonight, which I think they will He has Marleau, but I have Pavelski to counterbalance, as well as 2 Sharks offensive Defensemen. My two Bruin forwards also look good, although not as good as I had hoped.....yet.My picks were a bit strategic, given I knew none of the players would face each other and eliminate each other until the conference finals and finals if they went that far. Boston players and San Jose players were on my premium pick list lol. Crawford was merely a quick pick once I realized the other goalies left I expected to get bounced in the first round.I CHALLENGE!lol. I could in theory catch up if the matchup's go my way and eliminate the right players. Pilldoc has a similar team setup to mine so which players get hot and cold will matter. Niemi may well lose is starting job if Stalock plays and wins tonight *Prays* Edited April 28, 2014 by J0e Th0rnton
Polaris922
I lost Pietrangelo but still have three guys not scoring (Malkin, Neal & Letang). If Price can steal a few wins with Boston and those three begin to contribute, I may be able to catch up some.
radoran
I'm in second place and two of my guys - Simmonds and Timonen - haven't really torn up the league and probably won't be missed in the second round. Fantasy-wise. I'm riding Rask as far as he takes me. And still have Vanek, Getzlaf and Keith.
