Evilmonkey
I was never very interested in the Olympics except hockey, but the last winter Olympics i watched a fair amount because it was in Canada. This year however besides hockey i could care less i just cant get into it.
brelic
I cut cable/satellite about 4-5 years ago, and have basically just relied on streaming (Netflix, Gamecenter, etc) to watch what I want to watch. I had high hopes for Olympic coverage because it's the CBC, but their tablet app is just more annoying than it's worth. On the MacBook/AppleTV, it's fine. But the mobile apps force you to sit through the same stupid commercial over and over and over, sometimes just to watch a 0:45 second clip. ANd the commercials are 0:30 to 1:00 long, which is often longer than the clip I want to see. So when you want to watch the next clip, you have to go through the same thing, often the same commercial played TWICE in a row. Because of that, I've barely watched more than 5 minutes of the Olympics. TV companies do everything in their power to NOT give customers what they want. On top of that, the Olympics have interrupted the Flyers just when they were finally becoming interesting and fun to watch.
