Flyers Interested In Miller?

Torts is an ass but he's a good coach.

I'd like to see him ride roughshod over Carchidi and his buddies...but, the window to win with Torts is finite, the team will play a tougher style more defensively oriented, but after year 4 if you haven't won the championship , guys will start tuning him out .. We will trade good players for more "Torts type". Giroux 's prime will be essentially wasted .

If a team is unlucky the way the Rangers have been and don't win...well you see what's happening with NYR now.

Sounds Flyerrific. Laviolette is the first coach since Shero to go more than four years.

Not sure Giroux's prime would be wasted. Torts adapts to his personnel. The stars in TB did just fine under him.

Torts would be good if only to put the media in their place. And to drive Bayer stock higher than Google.

Only if you mean career years, Stanley Cup victory and Pearson, Ross and Hart Trophies.

Aside from that, he totally killed that team.

I consider Miller pretty close to Lehtinen on the Stars, good goalie, but outside of the elite goalies of the league, they are both somewhere around 8 to 12 range league wide. Buffalo will want a kings randsom for this guy, and they will get it, but (at least IMHO) not worth ripping your roster apart, which is what the winning bidder will have to do to secure his services.....pass.
