well, because the flyers are forced to put kids on entry level contracts, undrafted FAs, and past-their-prime journeymen who were terrible even in their prime into key positions because they are too hamstrung cap-wise to have actual NHLers in those spots. bryzgalov's isn't the only awful contract, but it might be the worst. I don't care about the dollars, you're right, it is Comcast money. I do care about the caphit, because this team is suffering hugely from it.

if I knew you at all, i'd put $500 on bryzgalov being bought out this summer or next. there is zero doubt in my mind. he isn't the only problem with the roster, but he is a full-stop on the flyers ever going anywhere. winning individual playoff rounds with him will be very rare, and 4 in 1 spring, will never happen.

if you dont like it then dont root for this team

Hope I'm not deluding myself but....After Homer's comments this afternoon, I tend to agree, in fact I think it will be this summer. IMO that would make this season an unqualified success.
