idahophilly Posted September 20, 2012 Share Posted September 20, 2012 Well, I know this has been brought up before but in light of the lockout and the possibility it could be long and perhaps the whole season, is this the right time for Pronger to step down as Captain? Or does it still not really matter. He could kinda quietly do it while the spotlight isn't on the players playing hockey. Or would the lack of news just magnify it all. We have not heard any news on how his tests came out (not that it's any of our business per say). Or is it possible he could return after the Winter Classic (if we have one). Yes, an extreme long shot!Another way to look at it is to keep him as captain because no matter what it's gonna be an effed up season anyway...
