Kuznetsov leaves Canes, NHL

Recommended Posts

Kuznetsov is leaving the NHL. Probably for good .

He and Carolina have mutually parted ways, he is signing a 4 year deal with SKA st. Petersburg in the KHL. Caroline Na is relieved of the cap hit because it is a mutual agreement to part ways.

The capitals woulda never won the cup without his brilliant postseason that year, but wow has he fallen hard.

I am not sure, but , maybe he wants to participate at Olympics? Through NHL it is hard to get to the Olympic team. If he wins it, then he will be a Triple Gold Club member. He won already 2 gold medals at World Championships and 1 Stanley Cup. Interesting that he has also 3 bronze medals at the World Championships.  Or maybe he would like to win a Gagarin Cup too, when he will play for a strong enough team SKA St.Petersburg ? He has already a long NHL career in his 32 y.o. age (he played 12 seasons for Washington Capitals plus 20 games during the regular season and 10 playoffs games for Carolina Hurricanes team).

Kuzy and his 2018 second round game 6 OT winner…ending the Penguins Curse

That 32 point playoff +12 run was absolutely amazing...hard to say that because i hate the Caps!!!

I wonder who plays 2nd line center for the Canes now??

🤔

Of course Kuznetsov...

His agent says it's just a rumor and he is staying

SKAIn the KHL says he is coming

Hurricanes are more or less muted

Only Kuznetsov could have such an exit from the league. The man is a trainwreck....

Trainwreck in the high, snowy trail line of the Appalachians?

I think more of the Alaskan runaway train with Jon Voight on top of it.
