IllaZilla
The Minnesota Wild traded F Adam Beckman to the New Jersey Devils for F Graeme Clarke. Beckman scored 19 goals and 33 points in 51 games for the Baby Wild. Clarke scored 25 goals and 49 points for the Utica Comets. https://thehockeynews.com/nhl/minnesota-wild/latest-news/wild-trade-adam-beckman-to-new-jersey-for-graeme-clarke

CreaseAndAssist
I would concur for the most part. However, Clarke has been slightly more productive as a pro than Beckman and if it helps Iowa get to the playoffs (and thus the young players a chance to develop, playing in meaningful games with pressure etc) then IMO there is little to lose. At the very least I think we knew the team clearly felt it knew what it had in him and didn't think it was useful enough by the simple fact they played Lettieri and Lucchini over him late in the season last year.
