SCFlyguy
@OccamsRazorI think you want the Flyers to be good so badly, you see every new move as the one that is going to save them from themselves and short circuit the pain of a rebuild. My view is they still haven't started to rebuild. Trading picks to get rid of Hayes is not a rebuilding move. It's a quick fix. Trading Provorov for a good return of picks/prospects is a rebuilding move.

The better the asset, the better the return. Cleaning up the chucktards mess is just that, cleaning up. It is not rebuilding.

The return could have been much greater. Its called basic asset management.

I get your point about "picks", but you cannot have a rebuild with Hayes still on the roster. He has to be the first move. And whether you like it or not, I think the way he has been used in the second half, shows the Flyers feel the same way. I'll double that by adding TDA DB has has some time to set a plan in place. At least he better have if he wants to remove the interim tag. And it seems likely he has relayed that plan to his coach, who has responded by essentially putting these two players in the doghouse.

Makes one or two nice plays a game and takes the rest of it completely off. HAAA, don't know, I didn't notice him before he was a Flyer either

I agree like Jake and Giroux and even Simmonds should have all went down earlier i can't do anything about that. I just answered the question what trade have they made in the last 4 years that was a good one. And despite all the semantics of it yes it was a good trade for the Flyers. Chuck's best trade ever even maybe. But just stating they finally had a good trade. But certainly not many or even another good one i can think of expect maybe Niskanen for Gudas.

It’s more like giving credit to an addict for putting down the crack pipe. We’ll see if it “takes.”
