Howie58
Greetings: The Pens are favored (-245), with a predicted score of 4-1. The Pens are in third place in the Metro but tied with Washington in points, so their incentive to win is significant. Sandstrom was recalled on Saturday. Hart is out for the season. I guess the youngins will get their first taste of hockey's Pennsylvania rivalry. I can't recall a 4:00 PM start.

WTF is Jones starting again? Felix should have the crease for the rest of the year. If they bring Jones back I am going to lose my ****. I guess unless it is Chuck's plan to lose but as @flyercanuck no way I give Fletch rhat kind of credit.

Howie58
Attard and Hogberg are steady and composed. I like Frost's goal. He is waking up.

Howie58
Shoot, this may be one of the best games of the year. It took a pulled goalie to get one Pitt goal. The youngins didn't roll. There is hope!!!

mojo1917
11, 86, 9, 6, 74, 49, 46, 47 those are some decent "not old" players. 47 has looked better each game I've seen him play. Hoberg, looked competitive and competent. Still lacking that top tier talent, but those are some pretty okay middle 6 depth pieces. I hope 6 and 9 remain on the team also. A good draft pick this year, get out from JvR and another of Ellis, Atkinson or Hayes. The team won't be great next year-but they should be more entertaining and could draft another quality player in '23. Might be able to have a little hope around this team again. I hope Fletcher doesn't trade for a bunch of past their primes. Edit: I spaced and didn't include Frost in that group, he has been much better since the trade deadline. Maybe he needed the roster to open up to find his comfort zone. Edited April 25, 2022 by mojo1917

mojo1917
@OccamsRazor Any win vs PGH, NYR, NJ, MTL is a Good win no matter the circumstances as far as I'm concerned. Going to get a top 5 pick, that should be a good player. Beating the Habs and Pens back to back is fine by me all day everyday.
GrittyForever
Hey, regardless of everything else, always satisfying to beat Crosby and the Pens.

flyer4ever
Trust the Flyers to f*&# up tanking. Dysfunction in Flyer Junction.
Samifan
Sure any other time the Pens would have put up six or seven against the Flyers, but because I wanted Yandle to hit -50 they lay an offensive egg.
GrittyForever
I don't think it really matters unless we somehow lose the lottery and drop back a bunch. After Wright, the next 4 or 5 guys are all pretty good and pretty equal. Should get a good player regardless. Just saying the group below Wright are all ranked pretty equal, just different. Knowing this GM we will probably go off book and pick Lambert and he will totally bust.
