  1. Giroux is hands down the better defensive player and plays all situations. Crosby has good drive and pays attention to detail, when Giroux starts joining Jagr afterschool program...lookout.
  2. That's not a bad point Porcupine.
  3. Leighton got us to the Stanley Cup Finals I believe....He also got us to hurt during the summer with that flukey goal that he let in...mental mistake at the wrong time. Bryz is the question mark for this season...Not Jagr, or the rookies, though he had an OK overall game here in AZ, his strong play in the first helped us to get going the rest of the way.
  4. Yah great game, saw a lot of Flyer fans at the game, I was able to contact Exec VP of Ops and plan the West Coast game, and they hooked me up for the game. Alot of Flyers fans come out to this West Coast trip, it's nice to see. Bryz a little rusty at first, but shored up...Jags, and Hartsy played good, Schenn's an up and comer and G's O.G. Glad your kids becoming a Flyer fan Berny...they remember those moments as they get older. Some of the security were jerks when I try to get around after the game, trying to maddog me, I was about to tellem wha's up but he went on his way. I guess they don't like us Philly boys. Got to hang out with some fans after the game and wave the Team goodbye on the bus, to represent... back on to the road trip.
  5. There are very proficient career backup goalies, Azzy, Bouch was one of them, like you said we put him in the wrong position to be successful and it showed. Bob had a sharp game tonight...Bryz looked rusty.
  6. Hope this lasts all the way into game 7 of the Finals....for the Win.
  7. IT's too early to call him a bum, maybe a chum that needs some rum, then we'll have some fun, when he goes on a run, to win us the Cup so we'll be done.
  8. Happy for Briere too, excellent, Lavy. Hartnell is helping team. our pieces are chipping in, Mez with goal also.
  9. H/G/J JVR/B/V T/S/R Simmonds/Couturier/Rinaldo We know 1st line = done. I still think V can help B out and JVR can do what H did last year but only better. T is versitile, which will help S adjust and R can be the clutch(who gets S in gear) Simmy, Couts and Rinny ...ah mannn what a powerful 4th line (actually 2 or 3rd line skill) We now have 3 second liner's on any given night. ....Man were are we gonna fit Z? He can be interchangeable with Rinny.
  10. I think the Flyers organization should really put some smart investment on updating our trainers, I know we have the family mentality. Which I could understand if you had a good uncle with all the best intentions working in your IT department, and he kept blue screening the desktops and laptops. (AYE) you Fire him or (BEE) you Retrain him at BEST Practice'sessississ. That's all I'm gonna say, and that's all I HAVE! to say.
  11. No Digity, why I keep getting that warn status.
  12. I see your point. Jagr is oil and the Flyers are water. Jagr has learned to not be in water. He has funneled his way outside pot. He now is on bottom of pot heating our water. He is making our team boiling hot. I hope he doesn't run out of oil or we will be cold soup.
  13. People we need not have short term memory, or be in a panic, Schenn is the type of player that works on his game, works on the little things, shows attention to detail. Our own Team staff has talked great things about him, while watching him all day after day. Sometimes your put in a new situation and scramble. Sometimes you fall into a situation and roll off the cuff. Schenn has fundamentals, just like Couturier and Read. I like Harry Z also, and Rinaldo can possibly grow into being like Tocchet. These are the tender ages when a player can blossom, given good surroundings and can exponentially grow....look at G. Our concern is focusing on Team D, we need to make it an imprinted part of our identity.....remember from the net out. Our offense is already known as quite capable.
  14. I'm sure Simmonds would be the first to admit of not having a better game, but....he'll shake it off.
  15. Imagine the fourth line of Carcillo/Asham/Rinaldo
  16. Well said Spinaroo, Jagr IS 39, the best thing he, Briere, Timo, Prongs, and others can do is build up their conditioning on the weakest Link in the chain of there ancillary struture. This is not the first case with groin injuries, as many fans were questioning the training staff with many of our players were having groin issues. It's often the least conditioned part of the body in training along with plyometric stretching...Qu'est-ce que c'est ...degueulasse
  17. Schenn might do good with the extra hard work of Read on his line.
  18. Hartnell/G/Jagr JVR/Briere/Simmonds Voracek/Schenn/Read Talbot/Couturier/Rinaldo.....sorry Z , you could be on standby for Rinaldo
  19. What a puss. Also that reporter was a ***** for bringing it up. what kind of tabloid reporting is that. She was asking some solid questions prior to this and then she went catty. You can do better than this girlfriend, c'mon...
  20. Seidenberg, Zubrus,Sbisa, Williams, Prospal, were head scratchers at first. I don't know why so many people including myself for a small stint were saddened with Upshall's trade, maybe he had too much hockey pheromones. Tomas Hyka seems to follow this pattern.
  21. Tomas Hyka..... It was terrible seeing Simone gone, the last piece of the Legion Of Doom Era... We should of let him retire a Flyer, but at least he's in Cali and his family will have fun options there.
