I agree Dahlin deserves to be an all star this year...but now Thompson is listed as injured on theScore against Carolina today so maybe Dahlin will replace Thompson at the all star game...

Of all the flaws Bobby Hull gets criticised for I have to say I admire him for his assaulting a police officer charge because most get that charged when they are actually getting beat up by the cops...not sure of the details of that case of course but nobodies perfect and perfection should not be the standard for admiring people anyways...rest in peace Bobby Hull a great hockey player...

Good bounce back win after an embarrassing loss to Chicago yesterday and Gilbert is definitely better than Mackey back there...
-
Good bounce back win against Seattle with some line change Lucic and Pelletier trade spots, Gilbert replaces Mackey, Ruzicka replaces Duehr and Vladr in net:
Dube/Lindholm/Toffoli
Pelletier/Kadri/Huberdeau
Mangiapane/Backlund/Coleman
Lucic/Ruzicka/Lewis
Hanifin/Andersson
Zadorov/Weegar
Gilbert/Stone
Vladr
---
I'm interested to see Peltier more on the 2nd line especially playing on same line a his idol Huberdeau haha...also Mackey should play with Tanev more when he healthy to help him improve or he gonna get sent back down to farm soon...
-
Well...same lines except for Mackey replacing the injured Tanev in the loss to Chicago...I'm hoping they try leaving Stone and Zadorov together and try putting Weegar with Mackey instead I'm thinking Stone and Zadorov are used to playing with each other so they shouldn't be split up...plus Lucic didn't beat anyone up tonight so there's that to explain losing to Chicago too...

I want Buffalo and Florida to knock Washington and Pittsburgh out of going to the playoffs this season. I need Florida to win the Stanley Cup so they will sign Eric Staal again for next season. Patrick Kane doesn't score the way he used to. Is he just uninspired by his failing team, or is it his health? Can he push Buffalo into the playoffs? Should Kane and Toews go together to the same team?
So they can sign Stall again...? Just so he can get to 500 goals?

I don't really understand was he was trying to do or send as a message but the whole League saw that as stupid and disrespectful, not only from Québec. I think Pelletier can take a load on himself, he's not made of sugar, but it's regarding his parents and relatives. He was a first round pick, didn't play a single game in training camp, then was recalled two weeks ago and being stratched and was put in the line-up all of a sudden, just before the game. It's a pretty curious and ordinary way to handle it.
Nah I think Sutter just being secretive about how he handles his players...like he acts like he doesn't want to share anything with the media such as information on his evaluations regarding his team his players etc...because Sutter always makes his media interviews adversarial like they trying to pry information outta him and he's just trying to fend them off with piecemeal generalities...
Like when he pretends he doesn't notice Pelletier or remember what number he is it's just another Sutter game being adversarial and secretive because Pelletier is getting power play time but of course can't put him any higher in the line up because Calgary is stacked with good players already...
Anyways what Sutter acts like and says to the media isn't the real way he treats his players...at least that's what I can tell from what former players say about their experiences playing under Sutter...

ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER GUY BEATEN UP BY LUCIC AND ANOTHER CALGARY WIN
-
Exact same lineup and goalie as the Tampa win and Lucic beats another guy up in another Calgary win
-
If they retain half his salary and trade some 2nd and 3rd rounders it worth considering...

Personally I like Boudreau so for me it's sad to fire him and think Boudreau is a good coach...I think they should've kept him as coach and do the fire sale anyways because no other coach they get will be as good...
-
Took Lucic to beat someone up for Calgary to win again hahaha...well we didn't get outmuscled today hahaha...
-
Pelletier got in the line up for the Tampa win today
-
Pelletier playing on 4th line with Duerh and Lewis during practice so expecting to see him tomorrow against Tampa
-
Same lines same goalie in loss to Colorado...think it's time to put Pelletier in to do something to create some offence...
-
Same lines but with Markstrom in net for this Nashville loss...I expect them to put Pelletier in next game though...
-
Not enough grit in this game we got outhit and out muscled...
-
This could be the best fight so far all year...Simmonds started off winning but by the end I thought Foligno caught up and got a draw...
-
Jeez they played so well this game and almost blew it at the end haha...

Gary Bettman Set to Surpass Clarence Campbell
in Around the NHL

Ugg...Bettman is a lawyer and a weasel...he ensures all the owners are making lots of money...but he is bad for the game with all the rules he's implemented concerning salary cap rules and all the other dumb rules he's brought into effect...
