    Bummer for Pitts. He (as I stated earlier) would have been the guy I hire for them. But my pay grade is way below that decision level. Kudos for Carolina. They just got a tremendous coach. Hello "bake a cake" Stevens to Pitts. I just say that because it will be so much fun on the interstate jokes between the teams and coaches. You have bake a cake stevens and pugilist berube. If only we could have a hallway seen like angry fonz!! Stevens holding a cake and Berube smashing it in his face!!!

    I really like San Jose. We will take Marleau of you hands. Seriously, as much a I like San Jose, they have to be the biggest chockers in the world when it comes to the playoffs. I can not think of another team that has chocked more than them.

    I called it. I should be a GM of an NHL team. :-) Actually I have to correct myself. I called Peters for Pitts. Regardless, he is the first to be hired and that was my call. I forget who made the list, but there was 10 coaches available and I stated that Peters would be the optimum.

    Okay, but both those trades were for established d-men. Also, the Desjardin trade came WITH LeClaire. Both of those trades were steals and rarely happen anymore.
