Anyone know the reason that Bernhardt was not signed? Flyers choice or did he not want to sign? I was talking to an AHL player a couple years ago. I was wearing an Eagles t-shirt and hat. He asked me if I was a Flyers fan, too. I told him I was and he told me how he hated "the fcikng Flyers". They drafted him and didn't sign him and he felt slighted. He only played in one NHL game after that. I wisely kept my mouth shut but wanted to tell him the Flyer made the right call!

@Poulin20, Awesome write up as usual! Thanks. Game 7 of the Bruins series I was supposed to meet some friends for beers. I told them I would be late because of the game. The Flyers were down 3-0 and my buddy texted me and told me their season was over and time quit watching and head to the bar. I remember telling him I had a good feeling and would never forgive myself if I stopped watching and the Flyers came back to win. So I chose to stay at home and watch the rest of the game. Boy did I choose right! When Gagne scored the winning goal I was jumping up and down screaming at the top of my lungs. All of a sudden, I got light headed and started seeing stars! I was on the verge of passing out from not breathing and fell back in into the recliner! LOL After the game ended I met my friends still wearing all my Flyers swag! That was a good night!

Those percentage numbers are deceiving because you are not counting the people that are still infected but not dead or dying. NOT ACCURATE. EDIT: Those numbers don’t include people that are or were infected and have not been tested or diagnosed.

If you’re talking about immediately after it happened, Myers probably told the training staff he was OK. He didn’t miss a shift so that tells me he wasn’t really examined.

I was outspoken (before the season) bitching about some of the moves Fletcher was making but they have turned out to be good....not spectacular, but good. I will withhold judgement till I see what these guys can do.

This is so cool! The Canes are selling shirts with Ayers name and number 90. They are giving royalties to Ayers and donating a percentage to a kidney foundation in his name. The Canes are flying him down to Raleigh for the game on Tuesday and he will crank the siren before the game. I'm sure he'll get a standing ovation.
